We are looking for a Director Search and Evaluation – Bioprocess to work with our expert Licensing team of 9 employees across the world. The generation of technologies through organized external Open Innovation will be a key differentiator and accelerator for innovation within our new product roadmaps going forward. What you’ll do
The Director will use Danaher Business System (DBS) innovation tools (such as Strategy Partner Grow - SPG) to formulate and manage the innovation pipeline ensuring the business invests in the technologies and capabilities needed to stay ahead of the competition and maintain/gain market leadership in areas of strategic importance for the Bioprocess business.
Manage the identification, evaluation, cultivation of Open Innovation partners for the both the Upstream and Downstream businesses with Bioprocess.
Turn strategy into action by sourcing, identifying and assessing new assets and platform technologies which will contribute to the growth of the Bioprocess business (both Upstream and Downstream) by addressing identified gaps/needs.
Monitor the scientific and related industry trends for Cytiva’s strategic intents, and work with the rest of the team to identify new opportunities that enhance Open Innovation both within Cytiva and other Danaher operating companies.
Coordinate cross-functional due diligence efforts and highlight the technical, legal, financial and market dynamics which have bearing on final agreements.
Perform global market segment analysis and contribute to gap analysis for each of the sub-segments within the Bioprocess business.



Who you are
Significant experience and relevant work experience in the bioprocess industry. Solid understanding of the market dynamics and competitive landscape.
Demonstrated experience in strategy formation, market analysis, competitive landscaping and business development.
Ability to synthesize multiple data points to create strategic point of view which can be communicated in a simple message.
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter and creative problem-solver.
Ability to interface with both internal team members and external customers as part of solutions-based sales approach. Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels within an organization.
Ability to travel nationally and internationally.
Rare combination of “thinker” and “do’er” with a strong aptitude for understanding strategic goals then building and executing the tactics to accomplish them. Exceptional ability to balance creative thinking with strong business judgment and analytical skills.
