In order to ramp up and meet known and unknown challenges we are now looking for a Director Security & Resilience.
The Corporate Security & Resilience function strives to be a modern, flexible and agile security function that has great knowledge of emerging threats. The main task of the function is to provide governance and support throughout the Vattenfall Group in order to ensure mitigation of security related risks as well as regulatory compliance in the countries where we operate.
In this senior and global role, you will head a team of talented colleagues with a true ambition to become a benchmark business-oriented security organisation. Together with your team, you will develop, drive and implement a holistic security and resilience framework for Vattenfall Group. You will directly manage a team of senior security experts within the security and resilience field and functionally lead security professionals in the group wide security and resilience organisation. In your role, you will be a part of the CS&R Management Team and report directly to Vattenfall’s Chief Security Officer (CSO).
Main responsibilities
Leading a team of dedicated colleagues and consultants to develop a state-of-the-art security governance, policies, guidance and security awareness throughout the VF Group
Developing security and resilience strategies, processes and methodologies as well as organisational change management, security & resilience architecture and governance, steering and follow up, which will strengthen the overall security & resilience posture for Vattenfall
Areas covered include such as personnel, physical, third-party security risk management and travel security. Resilience in the sense of governance for Incident management, Crisis Management and Business Continuity Management
Leading the Swedish Protective Security area including analysis of regulations, development of governance, trainings and awareness
As a member of the CS&R Management team, and the Security Council; the Director Security & Resilience provides input and is part of the highest decision body in defining and developing the Group Security & Resilience strategy
Continuously monitoring processes and driving improvements in efficiency and quality of the overall security & resilience portfolio
Overseeing the Security cycle and coordinating the process throughout the Group.
Being the SPOC for appointed Business area in the Security cycle
Guiding Vattenfall in strategically important projects and programs
Functionally responsible for governance related to all main and cross security areas
Being up-to date with industry best practices, vendor capabilities, academic frameworks and relevant authorities to sustain a state-of-the-art and highly innovative security program.
Your profile and qualifications:
Academic degree or similar experience in a security and resilience relevant area
Solid experience in a security role and a prior experience in a leadership position.
Relevant security certifications
Good knowledge of the Swedish Security Protection Act (2018:585)
Solid knowledge of EU authorities' working methods and requirements for the energy industry
Fluency in our group language English, both spoken and written
Experience from the energy business and/or larger global industrial company is a plus.
