The future of manufacturing – any shape in a day, sustainable in every way.
Seco Tools’ ambition is to be a partner for our customers and, together with them, make manufacturing fast, easy and sustainable. To be able to be the partner that inspires people to transform the industry, we need to be a role model, and for that reason Seco’s Supply Chain organization is now looking for a Director of Strategy and Business Improvement!
About the job
In this high-impact role, you’re responsible for establishing an optimal balance between operational excellence for today and actively preparing for the future. Together with your dedicated team of professionals you supervise the execution of business change projects, connecting and improving supply chain processes and being the inspirator for new and relevant science and methods.
You sponsor and evaluate large, multi-disciplinary projects as well as support and coach the team members to perform and develop to the best of their abilities. You monitor the effectiveness of business processes and encourage stakeholders to improve, always with the customer’s perspective in mind. You ensure the outside-in view in the supply chain by having your team members looking ahead, connecting with internal and external experts and testing new ways of working.
As an active member of various international, cross-functional teams and cross-divisional boards, you’re involved in defining and implementing the supply chain’s strategic agenda. You’re a co-creator in planning and realizing our growth plans, and as an objective professional, you identify opportunities for how and where to produce. You report to the VP Operations and as a member of the Supply Chain management team, you show involvement and responsibility for the overall organizational health and ensure the achievement of strategic objectives to the total supply chain.
Your profile
We’re looking for a self-driven and enthusiastic leader with a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent field. You have a good business understanding and experience with defining and implementing relevant strategies. You know how to combine structure and rigor in business processes with agility and initiatives for continuous improvement. You have shown the ability to lead people and teams as well as empower them to contribute, collaborate and accelerate – their success is your greatest pride.
Because of your natural curiosity and excellent communication skills, you provide and understand the perspectives of various stakeholders, handle ambiguity and propose innovative, smart solutions.
With your integrity and great collaborative skills, you’re a role model for our values, empowering your team and building networks and relationships with ease across cultural borders. Acting in a global environment calls for great English skills, verbally and in writing and the willingness and ability to regular international travel.
Our offer
A professional high impact role in a global manufacturing company with focus on sustainability and profitable growth. Working in an international environment, together with committed and professional colleagues that support you in achieving the organizational and project targets. Guaranteed continuous learning and personal development.
