About this opportunity:

Responsibilities of the successful candidate:
We are now opening a position in the Spectrum and Technology Regulations group within the Standard and Industry Initiatives at GF Technology. The group is responsible for driving and coordinating spectrum and technology regulations/standardization efforts within Ericsson and in cooperation with other industry stakeholders and organizations. The specific position involves developing Ericsson strategies in these areas, and in particular regarding technology regulation. It will also involve participation in regulatory meetings and initiatives to proactively drive such strategies on a global basis.
What you will do:
• Driving the work and company internal coordination on technology regulation and related activities.
• Ensuring that technology regulations, e.g. safety and security regulations, artificial intelligence regulations, etc., are harmonized across the globe and favourable for Ericsson´s products.
• Driving Ericsson’s objectives in industry/stakeholder groups as a means of proactively influencing regulations
• Being aware of various technology regulation initiatives globally and participating in these to advocate for and secure positions in Ericsson’s best interests.
The skills you bring:
To be successful in the role you have:
• A MSc. or BSc. degree with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in the ICT industry.
• A proven track record in regulation and/or standardization related activities.
• Strong knowledge of the Ericsson product portfolio and a deep understanding of ICT industry trends.
• Excellent listening, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Strong cooperation & collaborative mindset, and ability to work as part of a team.
• A capability to drive Ericsson objectives in internal and external teams.
• An understanding of our customers’ and competitors’ business objectives.
• Previous leadership experience and strategic/tactical planning is a plus.
