Your future team
Aftermarket Technology (AMT) is a group function with the mission to provide Volvo Group’s brands with aftermarket solutions. We provide solutions directly to Volvo Trucks, Renault Trucks, Mack Trucks. We support Volvo Bus Corporation, Volvo Construction Equipment, Volvo Penta. AMT also provides solutions to Partners and Joint Ventures.
Aftermarket is the category that entails the job areas involved in how the Volvo Group manages the lifecycle of its offering (both hard and soft) by providing diagnostic, maintenance, repair, and spare parts for sold products, dealer support and assistance to secure customer satisfaction.
Aftermarket Technology has 5 sites located in Sweden, France, India, USA and Brazil. We employ over 407 employees and 173 consultants. We manage an activity worth 1BSEK of R&D investment.
Your organization holds 40 engineers based in several sites.
What you will do
Technology & Service Development (TSD) is a core function of AMT working as an incubator for disruptive technologies and as an engineering function for uptime services. TSD also delivers all technical information needed to quote and manage service contracts for all Volvo Group’s brands.
You work with the Brands and Strategic Product Planning to define the required evolution of the uptime service portfolio over the coming years. You are empowered and accountable for leading the development to meet the decided intro dates for concepts or full services.
You manage the following service portfolio for all Brands and all markets:
* Service contracts technical information
* Development of specific services for Renault Trucks
* Predictive maintenance services embedded in our Global Diagnostic Service Platform (GDSP)
* Augmented aftermarket services such as Augmented fault tracing, Augmented safety instruction and Integration of the augmented reality framework in GDSP.
* Incubation of Artificial Intelligence in aftermarket services
* Incubation of the automation of diagnostic, repair and maintenance activities.
TSD is a team built on deep expertise combining domain knowledge, data-science, and computer science. Our engineers are based in Gothenburg Sweden, Lyon France and Bangalore India. You develop the organization, the people, the processes and the technology to deliver on our business objectives.

You hold high standards of performance and develop the teams’ efficiency and effectiveness to deliver on quality and time. You foster a growth mindset and an innovative culture where we attract and retain talents to develop future technologies for uptime services. You develop the competence and the ways of working to increase the speed of development of connected solutions, data-driven services, and predictive care for our customers.
As a member of the Aftermarket Technology global Leadership Team, you also have responsibilities to develop the global AMT towards set objectives.

We also want you to have:
• Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Several years’ experience in leading people within product or service development.
• Experience from engineering and/or aftermarket business.
