Job description


As Director Technology Strategy & Analysis, you will have the responsibility to lead technology strategy and contribute to business strategy for new powertrain and energy solutions. You will together with your team lead Strategic investigations of new and innovative powertrain technology concepts as well as Research initiatives and collaborations, coordinate initial phases of public funding, as well as external affairs and partnerships in close collaboration with CTO office, Patent department, Product planning and Chief engineers. You and your team is a key function to support innovation progress with idea generation, idea development and analysis expertise.
You will lead a team consisting of 6-10 motivated senior employees with extensive background in Powertrain development and big passion for new technologies.

You possess a drive to explore and develop new technology and business in a fast-changing industry landscape and have extensive experience from both research as well as product development in the powertrain field. Well established academic networks as well as experience from hydrogen technologies and commercial vehicles are considered strong merits.
A positive mindset and “we-can-do-it attitude” characterizes your personal profile and you are known for building strong engaged teams with your collaborative and holistic oriented approach. You are confident in driving complex topics inside as well as outside your own organization. You possess very good communication skills and you are comfortable in guiding the organization to make difficult decisions in complex matters.
