We are now looking for a Director, Volvo Car Corporation AB Controller within the Accounting and Group Reporting function.

Accounting and Group Reporting is responsible for the accounting within Volvo Cars on Group and entity level, including accounting standards, group consolidation and internal and external financial reporting.


What you’ll do
As Director, Volvo Car Corporation AB Controller you will be responsible for the overall financial reporting of the legal entity Volvo Car Corporation, both according to IFRS and local GAAP. Your objective is to improve processes, implement improvements and secure robust reporting and analysis. It will require extensive contact with Business Control, Group Accounting, Finance Delivery and Tax. You will be reporting to the VP Accounting and Group Reporting.

Your main responsibilities are to:
* Assure and sign of on the financial statements for the legal entity Volvo Car Corporation
* Perform monthly analysis and report out to management
* Assure proper implementation of processes as changes in business occurs
* Secure the link between finance functions
* Approve invoices or payments were there are no natural business owner


You will be in the management team for the function Accounting and Group Reporting as well as Engineering and Operations controlling.


Do you fit the profile?
Preferably you have a university degree in Business Administration or equivalent. You have gained extensive experience in finance from a global corporate production setting focused on accounting, or within audit. With this you bring knowledge in IFRS accounting standards. We also see financial or business controller experience as an advantage. And finally, you have leadership skills and are fully proficient in English, both verbally and in writing.

We are looking for a doer who is an open-minded and driven team player with refined communications skills and high level of business acumen. Having good analytical skills are also a key factor in this role. Further, you are motivated by working independently and being able to contribute on our exciting journey ahead.
