Distribution Manager OTA´s and TMC´s
Our Commercial Distribution Team is expanding and looking for a Distribution Manager based in Stockholm or Oslo. You will join a small team responsible for both Online Travel Agencies and Travel Management companies.
In your role you will handle some accounts yourself. Negotiate best possible terms and conditions for on- and offline sales initiatives, and interdepartmental collaboration. You will drive tactical tests, and projects targeting the OTA/TMC segments to find new ways to optimize our strategic partnerships in all channels. In this role you will analyze and communicate best practices fo sales within commercial distribution partners, lead projects, campaigns and align operational goals with distribution sales initiatives.
Strengthen Nordic Choice Hotels position with industry organizations, associations and other strategic players. There will also be some travel within this role.
Who you are
We think that are a good team player with good social skills. You have adequate knowledge of Hotel- and distribution-systems.
You do have an experimental, analytical mindset and dare to challenge the norm. You like to learn about new technology, sales channels and disrupted and innovative business models. To thrill in this role we think that you get excited when trying something new and of course not settling for anything less than the best deals in the industry.
You have a solid background from the hospitality- and travel-industry, distribution, project management and a proven track record from complex B2B negotiations. To be able to handle this role we think that you are structured, self-driven and experimental and used to working in ever-evolving organizations as well as in cross functional teams. Here you will take initiative and act rather than checking every little detail. You see opportunities within every problem and are used to working both strategically and operationally.
Basic Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
- A strong understanding of the commercial side of the Hospitality business.
- Balanced business and technical background.
- Sufficient level of technical ability to understand and drive technical initiatives
- Relevant B2B sales experience
- Good understanding of the digital sales landscape (algorithm based optimization & digital creativity)
- Good knowledge of the infrastructure within distribution including connectivity solutions (GDS,OTA, CRS)
- Solid ability to think creatively and analyze deliverables.
-Broad knowledge of excel and business intelligence systems
-Strong communicator and have the ability to influence others
- Fluent in Norwegian or Swedish plus English spoken and written
- System knowledge
- Experience from complexed negotiations
- Experience from business development and to work with and develop with disrupted complex business models
- Experience from setting up test´s and business cases
