We are looking for a Distribution Planning Manager, within the Supply Chain team who will strengthen our team and work with stock allocation and distribution solutions together with Supply Chain, Purchasing and Wholesale colleagues globally.

The main responsibility for this position is to optimize wholesale fulfilment, intra-warehouse and retail operations in order to deliver world-class availability services to our customers. You have daily contact with our main fulfilment centre and wholesale customers worldwide where you assist them in questions regarding order fulfilment, logistic best practice and support the wholesales management in retaining our existing customers’ business as well as winning new business.

You will lead a small team located in Norrköping and report to the Supply Chain Director.

Areas of responsibilities

Ownership of distribution planning processes

• Lead the wholesale fulfilment, intra-warehouse and retail replenishment processes through accurate planning and execution that ensures optimum stock availability and order fulfilment at each global distribution center
• Create forecasts and follow fulfilment plans with wholesales management
• Annual preparation of peak fulfilment operations with central warehouse
• Develop and lead the monthly distribution planning cycle

Team & cross-functional leadership

• Set and follow-up on smart and motivational goals per each team member
• Identify and take action on improvements in current Distribution Planning processes, systems, and procedures, through cross-functional and continuous process development with IT, Supply chain development colleagues
• Close work with the Distribution Planning Team and Freight Partners to simplify the system, physical and financial flow to each destination

Distribution Planning for a selection of wholesales partners:

• Responsible for several strategic wholesales partners, their order fulfilment, managing accounts, and providing world-class support
• Monthly capacity planning with central warehouse
• Meet product availability and delivery expectations of wholesale customers
• Conduct performance reviews for several strategic wholesales partners
• Drive the onboarding process of new wholesales partners

Qualifications

Professional requirements:

• University degree in Industrial Engineering/Logistics or Supply Chain
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in the area of supply chain, logistics or inventory optimization
• Excellent skills in Excel, ERP-systems
• Fluency in English, other languages an advantage

Personal requirements:

• Be agile and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment
• Quick problem-solving skills
• Non-prestigious and open and easy to work with
• Comfortable to lead and excellent communication skills

Other knowledge or Experience that will be meriting:

• Experience from FMCG and E-commerce industry
• Experience from wholesales operations
