Help us enable sales through our network of distributors in Asia. We are a dedicated team that shares an enthusiasm for biomedical research and science, particularly in the field of immunology. Are you one of us?

Mabtech was founded by three scientists at the Department of Immunology at Stockholm University. Today we are considerably larger, but our mission is still the same: to assist other researchers with high-quality, dependable research tools and expert technical support.

About the position

As a Distributor Sales Manager you will be responsible for growing the business in Asia by assisting and deepening the relationship with our distributors.

Responsibilities

• Assist distributors to drive solution-based selling.
• Plan and execute trainings to educate distributors and augment existing field resource and drive awareness of our brand.
• Conduct exhibitions, promotions, and other events in collaboration with the distributors.
• In collaboration with the distributor develop, implement, and execute business plans to drive profitable revenue growth.
• Schedule business reviews with distributor sales- & marketing teams.
• Work with your colleagues in cross-functional teams to ensure actions are taken to secure business in competitive situations.
• Share market knowledge and customer feedback with the Head of sales and the rest of the sales and marketing team.

Create and maintain effective partner relationships and promote a positive working atmosphere. You will be part of a sales team of 7 people, each with individual responsibility, but with the team as a platform to enable results.

Qualifications

We believe that you have knowledge within the field of immunology but also life experience from working or living in China or other parts of Asia, since both will be vital to succeed in this role. You need to know the culture to communicate professionally with the end customers.

• Master’s degree or Phd in relevant scientific area, preferably Immunology.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in Mandarin and English. Additional Asian languages is meritorious.
• Previous work experience within sales is meritorious.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently while handling multiple priorities. This position requires frequent travel, up to 6-7 weeks per year.

Researchers around the world use our products to capture, detect and discover analytes with precision and accuracy. Today we are approximately 60 colleagues in our headquarters located in Nacka, where we develop, manufacture, and sell the products. In our American office, located in Cincinnati, we are 7 colleagues (and growing!).
