What You'll Do

The District Sales Specialist is responsible for growing sales with HCPs assigned to the territory by developing customer relationships, being an ambassador for Abbott's Freestyle products, and strengthening overall market presence. This role is instrumental in delivery of sales and profitability objectives, as well as expanding brand reputation. This is a field-sales opportunity.

Your district will be Stockholm South, Gotland and Sörmland.



ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES?

* Meeting or exceeding sales quotas/objectives for ADC Products.
* Collaborating with various channels, Managed Care, Retail, and Point of Care representatives.
* Establishing strong relationships with a broad base of internal and external health care constituents (e.g., physicians, nurses, pharmacists, CDEs, etc.).
* Acting in a friendly, respectful, adaptive manner while focusing on the needs and interests of others.
* Keeping current on internal and competitive products and positioning by utilizing a variety of resources.
* Understanding and conveying information professionally and accurately.
* Effectively planning for and following through with short- and long-term results based on business trends by developing plans that include goals, action plans, time frames and the appropriate resources.
* Keeping current in market trends and competitor's strategy.
* Maintain, develop and identify customer needs within our Diabetes division
* Represent Abbott's vision and core values whilst working under the Class A procedures and the Affiliate Compliance Committee (ACC) Policy
* Adapt to internal and external changes i.e. district changes



EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES?

* Technical or science education or equivalent work experience to understand the complexity of the products as well as the customer needs is to prefer.
* Completed Swedish or equal secondary education School.
* Fluent Swedish and English language skills both oral as writing
* Computer skills including word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software.
* Documented selling skills
