The team:

People Strategy & Labour Relations is a specialist function within the global corporate People & Culture department. The team supports the organisation in the areas Skill Capture (Scania’s framework of working with Diversity and Inclusion), Human Rights, Social Impact and Global Labour Relations.

Your new role:

You will be a Skill Capture (D&I) specialist supporting the global Scania organisation. The work primarily consists of supporting Scania’s business success through Skill Capture. You will drive, develop, implement, and support the Skill Capture strategy, model, and material in collaboration with Skill Capture Ambassadors (D&I change agents) and stakeholders in the global Scania organization, which will lead the change in how we think, act and do business.

Your main assignments are to engage with leaders at multiple levels in the organization in creating and implementing the Skill Capture (D&I) strategy, to serve as a subject matter expert and liaison to stakeholders across the company. You will ensure that the Skill Capture model is constantly evolving to support the company’s changing markets and climates. You will also support the ongoing Skill Capture work. This will include participating in the continuous development of Skill Capture methodologies and support incorporating Skill Capture into Scania’s corporate processes and culture. You will ensure and participate in a dialogue with operations and unions (or other employee representatives) with a view to support the organization, assist in preparing, reporting and following up on Skill Capture data and develop, implement and follow-up on relevant OKR’s. An important part of your role is to facilitate Skill Capture training for ambassadors, and senior and executive management teams and drive, develop and support the Ambassadors community

Your profile:
To succeed in this role you will need to have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field or the equivalent knowledge acquired some other way. We see you need to have at least 5 years in a similar role, with proven and progressive experience in D&I work as well as change management in a global context. You should have knowledge of diversity best practices and trends, with the willingness to continuously explore new research in the area. You need to be a strong communicator and have interpersonal and organizational skills, excellent presentation skills and experience facilitating workshops and training sessions. You are able to manage multiple projects and processes and have a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a culturally diverse environment

We think you can span from strategy to operational tasks. Some specifics are that you have a growth mindset and genuine interest in building relationships, solving problems and pushing for positive change. You have analytic skills, good knowledge of project management and change management in a global organisation and you are of course fluent in English, both in speech and in writing

If you are passionate about diversity and inclusion and are looking for an opportunity to make a real difference, we encourage you to apply. We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
