Avalanche Studios Group and its division Avalanche Studios are crafting our next cutting edge AAA open-world game. Avalanche Studios is the division dedicated to ambitious, externally published, AAA games like Just Cause, Mad Max and Rage 2.
We are now looking for a Production Director who will work on a division level where you will oversee all of Avalanche Studios' AAA production. You will work closely with the Executive Producers and Directors of the projects. In this role, you will report directly to the Director of Development.
Main responsibilities
- Setting up world-class production processes across multiple AAA projects.
- Helping to define and monitor risk mitigation across our projects.
- Be a key individual in setting up new ambitious teams and projects.
- Help in defining the division’s production goals and monitor the relevant KPI’s.
- Oversee financial tracking for ongoing projects, coordinating between project leadership and the finance department.
- Aligns with Company Management Group and our other divisions to help find cross-unit synergies and opportunities.
- Outsourcing relationship and evaluation of outsourcing partners.
- Mentoring & coaching key project personnel.
Key requirements
- 10+ years experience in games production with experience of shipping multiple large-scale, AAA projects in a role at the highest level of project governance.
- Experience working with external publishing partners at Executive level.
- Tactical mindset combined with operational effectiveness.
- Negotiation skills and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Strong experience in building and leading high performing teams.
- Fully proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Strong flexibility and time management skills.
- Travelling availability to all locations included in the creative division.
