For a brand-new position, we’re now looking for a Division Security Support Officer. Are you newly graduated and would like to add practical real-world experience to complement your education? Or do you come from a strong traditional IT background and have started to already explore the cyber security and information security area, aiming to immerse yourself more in a full-time security role? About the job
This is a dynamic and flexible position that includes support in an advisory capacity and operational activities. You’re the support interface for our multiple divisions ensuring they meet and maintain the required baseline security levels. You support and assist our IT delivery teams, mergers, and acquisitions business by reviewing security assessments and recommending any relevant security corrective measures that need to be undertaken. You report directly to the business area CISO and are a part of the security function. You’re also required to represent us in our global security community through active participation and engagement.
The location for this job is in Hyllie (Malmö), Sweden and even though this is a dynamic and flexible role, and we offer part-time remote possibilities, it’s of high importance that you live in the area. Domestic and international travel is included in the job.
Your skills and you as a person
We’re looking for someone with a relevant education or work experience within the fields of:
IT security and control frameworks
Risk management
Change management
Vulnerability management
Network, and Infrastructure security
Incident response
It’s an advantage if you have a good understanding in, or have worked in some security capacity within the operational technology domain, as manufacturing is at the heart of Sandvik’s business. It’s a plus if you have certifications within these fields. As we operate on a global stage and our corporate language is English, a proficient level of both written and oral English is a requirement.
