As a Lead Technician, you will be part of Special Task & Blades Nordic with the responsibility for fiber (glass and carbon) repair in Scandinavia, UK & Ireland. The service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind farms within Scandinavia. Vestas Northern and Central Europe aim to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, not only in modern energy, but also in employee and customer satisfaction. With these aspirations, a Lead Technician holds an important role as the frontline of our service agreements, taking care of the customers' turbines. In this role you get to work in an exciting industry for the most sustainable company in the world, and in a team of highly engaged employees. We are currently looking for 5 new Fiber Technicians, so do not hesitate to apply. Responsibilities
In this position you are expected to carry out activities related to the blades maintenance processes to assure service level agreements and minimise service costs
Inspect the operational level of the blades assessed: register results on maintenance information systems
Ensure reliability of the information gathered and compliance of information procedures
Documentation of the job
Carry out a diversity of check-ups, repairs, and replacement activities of turbine components
Make travelling reservations and bookings according to plan
Qualifications
We hope that you possess the following professional competencies:
2 years of experience with blade repair or production
Basic knowledge of MS Office
Rope access or ActSafe knowledge
Good communication - English skills in reading/writing/speech. If you apply for this position out of Denmark, Danish on conversational level is also a requirement
A good Collaborator
Driver’s license

The position requires high demands on accuracy and professionalism, as we are extremely committed that our blade repair is performed with the highest quality. Therefore, you should recognise yourself in the following:
Your level of safety awareness is high
You should be comfortable working at heights, coping with the respective issues this brings
To fully carry out the tasks, we believe that you are a practical, flexible, and business-like person
As we are working across Scandinavia, you need to be able to be away from home for up to 3 weeks in a row or more, and travel with short notice
