Several positions, full time (100%), starting September 1, 2010.Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) serves regional and global needs by educating entrepreneurial leaders and business creators.JIBS aims to provide innovative leadership in research, education and service to society within entrepreneurship and business renewal.JIBS is known for excellence in research and teaching and for its strong international profile.JIBS is one of four schools within Jönköping University and has about 2200 students and 200 employees of which 80 are PhD students.In Business Administration we are now recruiting PhD students with an interest in accounting, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, strategy, organization as well as logistics and supply chain management. WORKING TASKS/ QUALIFICATIONS For a full-time PhD student, the major part of your time is devoted to your doctoral coursework and writing your doctoral thesis.A minor part of your time is devoted to teaching and administrative tasks. Eligible applicants should hold a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration or other relevant subject areas.We particularly seek candidates who have the ambition to pursue an international research career and wish to combine a high level of academic scholarship with research that has empirical and practical relevance.The applicants need to be fluent in both written and spoken English.As an international business school, we also value skills and experience in other languages and cultures, and it is considered an additional merit for applicants to have prior work experience.
