Vestas Northern & Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and the south of Africa. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation, and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. The Construction Department oversees all wind farm projects from start to completion. The team takes responsibility for a wind farm once a contract has been signed - and remains responsible until the final tests are completed. Working closely with the logistics, procurement, and finance departments, the team keeps the project on budget and schedule and ensures that our rigorous safety and quality standards are met. Construction also works closely with the Sales and Legal Departments to ensure that each wind farm delivers the highest energy yield within the client's specifications.
The Project Documentation department is responsible for whole documentation within construction. This function aims to provide the agreed scope of project-specific as-built documentation to the customer of the project and enable internal departments like Service to access the documents.
Responsibilities
As a Documentation Controller you will be monitoring all projects and ensuring a documentation package is delivered according to the contract. Also, you will be involved in the handover of a project from Construction to Service Department. Furthermore, your tasks will include:
Check customer as well as local requirements regarding documentation to be delivered
Support Administrator Documentation and project team by giving information and directions
Participate in customer meetings
Create, maintain and archive document collections in the DMS-system according to the needs of Vestas
Prepare and deliver the as-built documentation to our customers
Prepare projects in back-office and support the onsite handling of as-built documentation during a project’s construction phase
Support creation, management and administration of documentation according to relevant regulations and contractual agreements
Be an active member of the project team and support in executing a cost-effective customer project
Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree within e.g. Engineering or Business Administration
Experience with documentation within an industrial or construction company, preferably from an international environment
Experience with supervision and monitoring of documentation
Solid communication skills as you will be communicating with both internal stakeholders across the organisation as well as suppliers and partners
Good understanding of IT systems and processes and advanced user of MS Office, SAP is a plus
Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
Competencies
