Vestas Northern & Central Europe is a sales business unit covering Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Poland, the Baltics, Germany, Benelux as well as Eastern Europe and south of Africa. We are responsible for the Sales function, Project, Installation and Service of wind farms throughout these regions. We strive to be the No. 1 performing business unit within Vestas, and we aim to make Vestas Northern and Central Europe the best place to work.
The Construction Department oversees all wind farm projects from start to completion. The team takes responsibility for a wind farm once a contract has been signed - and remains responsible until the final tests are completed. Working closely with the logistics, procurement and finance departments, the team keeps the project on budget and on schedule and ensures that our extensive safety and quality standards are met. Construction also works closely with the Sales and Legal Departments to ensure that each wind farm delivers the highest energy yield within the client's specification.
The Project Documentation department is responsible for whole documentation within construction. The aim of this function is to provide the agreed scope of project specific as-built documentation to the customer of the project and enable internal departments like Service to access the documents.
Responsibilities
In this role you will be monitoring all projects and ensuring a documentation package is delivered according to the contract. Also, you will be involved in the handover of a project from Construction to Service Department.
Furthermore, your tasks will include:
Being a part of the project core team
Checking customer and regional documentation requirements (including scope of documentation, delivery time and format).
Participating in customer meetings
Updating existing documents and creating new ones according to needs of Vestas and our customers
Supporting creation, management and administration of documentation according to relevant regulations and contractual agreements for all installed wind turbines
Qualifications
Degree qualified
At least 2 years of experience in a similar environment or area of responsibility
Competencies
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Good communication skills as you will communicate with stakeholders within construction, sales, service and management as well as suppliers and partners.
Basic technical understanding and affinity to commercial and administrative topics
Customer oriented
Great time management skills
Good at planning, organisation and coordination
Good sense of responsibility, sound judgement and able to handle stress
Detail oriented and accurate
A team-oriented person with a positive spirit
High level of Safety Awareness
Fluent in German, both written and verbal, is an advantage
