We are looking for our next manager that want to lead our great Documentation team – a central and important part of our exciting projects within HVDC!
You will have the joy of leading 13 people direct reporting to you. Together with the full Documentation function you will have a team of more than 60 competent and driven employees, all working together to ensure accurate creation, distribution and storage of contract and project documentation.
We offer you an exciting and dynamic role with close collaboration with other departments and teams at Hitachi Energy both locally and globally.
Your responsibilities
Leading the Documentation function by ensuring on-time delivery and conduct quality of deliverables in documentations
Guides, motivates, coaches and develops the team of Documentation and Drafting Specialist
Defines documentation and drafting operating guidelines, and ensures proper allocation of tasks within the team
Reports issues to management along with recommendations for improvement
Develops and drives continuous improvement activities to improve processes, policies and effectiveness within your area of responsibility
Communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders for documentation management
Ensures that your area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed

Your background
You hold a degree in relevant field and/or equivalent business experience
You have work experience and interest in project management and documentation, preferable within HVDC or similar area
As a leader you “leading by example” by being a good listener, are accountable and inspirational
You have good communication skills and the wish to work in a dynamic and multicultural environment
You are a curious and structured person with the drive to challenge yourself and the organization for continuous development in both short and long term
As you will be part of a company that operates on a global arena, fluent in English is required
