Dog mushers and handlers for our Alaskan huskies

Snowhotel in Kirkenes is open all year around, accommodating adventurous guests from all around the world. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner in our 3 on-site restaurants - two in a renovated sheep barn, one in a wood-fired hut. We also offer Husky rides, Snowmobile Safaris, King Crab excursions - and more!

We have a kennel of 160 lovely Alaskan huskies that is part of the Snowhotel. We are offering different types of dog sleigh rides during winter time, husky hikes during summer and husky waggon tours during autumn.

For our husky kennel we are looking for dog mushers who can support us during the remaining winter season and who would like to stay with us also during the summer season. Since we are offering activities all year long, extending the contract for the next winter season is also an option.

What we would like you to bring:

. You should love to work both with animals and you shouldn't be shy of guiding and talking to our guests

. Good physical and mental condition

. Language skills: German, English, any other additional language is also welcome

. European driving license class B

. A "yes-I-can-do-it"-attitude and a good sense of humour

. Seasonal contract for the summer season. Since we offer activities all year round, extending the contract after the season is certainly an option.
