Situated in the north of Norway, in the beautifully rugged landscape of Finnmark, you will find our dog kennel with 155 lovely Alaskan huskies. We are part of Kirkenes Snowhotel, a company which offers a wide range of activities in both winter and summer.

Although this winter season is also totally different from a normal winter season with unrestricted travelling, we still have to train our dogs, take good care of them and have to do maintenance work at the dogyard. Therefore, we are looking for people who would like to help us.

What we would like you to bring:
You should love to work with animals and you shouldn't be shy of guiding and talking to our guests.
Good physical condition and being able of lifting weights up to 20 kg
You should love the cold because temperatures can drop down to -30°C and we have to take care of the dogs and tourists in all kinds of weather.
Language skills: English is our official working language
European driving license class B
A "yes-I-can-do-it"-attitude
A good sense of humour to survive the long polar night and millions of mosquitoes in summer
What we offer:
A fair salary
40 working hours per week

Accommodation can be provided at a very low rent and daily comforts like internet, electricity, water and sauna are included in the price.

Handling and training huskies, driving dog sleds and wagons, surviving in the arctic nature - we have an experienced core staff that will teach you what you need to know for the job.

Basic work clothing and equipment will be provided

Seasonal contract for the winter season. Since we offer activities all year round, extending the contract after the season is certainly an option.
