About the role 
We’re in the middle of a transformation towards a completely digitalized energy business based on an efficient IT landscape. To contribute to this transformation our Business IT department must find ways to both become technology leaders and establish agile ways of working. At Business IT, we help E.ON improve its customer interactions by designing and realizing solutions that focus on self-service and a smooth experience. 

In the role as Domain Architect you will be a part of the Transformation, Strategy and Architecture team consisting of Transformation leads, Enterprise and Domain architects. You as a team are responsible for architecture development, to help E.ON push technology forward and change how our customers use, explore and interact with information and technology. 

The Domain Architect is also dedicated to the development area team within its dedicated business technology domain, responsible for delivering solutions in close collaboration with the business representatives, solution architects and developers. The Domain Architect is therefore a core person in aligning solution delivery to the overall target architecture and IT Strategy.

We work with a range of technology platforms, such as: Azure, Dynamics, Salesforce, SAP, Adobe Experience Manager among other.

Your main areas of responsibility include:

* Architectural governance for an IT domain and development area
* Create and maintain an architectural blueprint based on agreed templates and way of working
* Create domain architectural blueprints for future business and target architectures
* Drive and own changes within an IT domain and development area
* Identify, lead, and cooperate with the business with strategic initiatives and value propositions
* Secure that the architecture is aligned with principles and goals from the Enterprise Architecture function
* Lead and manage activities and decisions related to solutions and applications needs of the domain and development area

We are looking for you with a college or university degree with a focus on IT, or other completed education in combination with work experience for the role.
We would like you to have at least 3 years of experience from previous assignments in roles as an IT architect or similar; preferably from a large corporation or other complex IT environment.
