Assignment Description:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Domain Architect - Fleet Operations to play a pivotal role in shaping the enterprise architecture of our client's company. As a Domain Architect, you will be responsible for planning, designing, supporting, and overseeing implementations across their ship fleet.
What you'll do:
· Develop and communicate the enterprise architecture vision and strategy for fleet operations.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
· Design and oversee the implementation of technical solutions that optimize ship operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance.
· Provide guidance and support to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and best practices.
· Evaluate and recommend relevant technologies, platforms, and frameworks to support fleet operations.
· Identify and address technical debt and legacy system challenges, driving towards a future target landscape.
· Advocate for the adoption of cloud strategies, DevOps practices, and security measures within the fleet operations domain.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration patterns and develop microservices-based solutions.
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to fleet operations.
· Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the fleet operations domain.
Who you are:
· A strategic mindset with a strong understanding of business and technology challenges.
· Proven experience in enterprise architecture, cloud strategies, DevOps, and security.
· In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, microservices, and relevant technology platforms.
· Familiarity with the shipping industry is advantageous.
