We are currently recruiting for a Domain Architect – Produce & Supply. The purpose of the position is to be responsible for the architecture within the domain of the process area including connecting with the IT & business organizations to maximize business value using digital technology and data. This position ensures that the delivery teams have a platform architecture aligned with the business & IT strategy, taking a holistic view of the organisation's direction, processes, information and information technology assets. The position also develops and maintains domain and platform related architecture assets, blueprints and roadmaps within the area of manufacturing.
Key Accountabilities:
Responsible for securing and safeguarding the integrity of the domain architecture including establishing relevant architecture guidance to delivery teams in line with IT-strategy and enterprise architecture.
Understand delivery teams, customers/user requirements current & future needs relevant for shaping architecture.
Develops & manages architectural artifacts for applications & platforms within scope.
Ensure enterprise-wide architectural adherence through participation in the architecture review process.
Actively contributes to & collaborates on overall Enterprise Architecture in line with IT-strategy.
Develops standards, guidelines and tools relating to architecture within the organization.
Drives and follow up key decisions regarding architecture and design to provide solutions that is flexible, re-usable and in sync with changing business needs.
Promotion of shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows. Ensure (through architecture review process) that solutions do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other or from business and IT strategies
Build employee knowledge and skills in the architecture areas of expertise in alignment with the enterprise architect (guild lead).

Decisions relating to documenting, monitoring and tracking of architecture.
Shared decisions
Choice of systems impacting architecture aligned with Solution Delivery Leads and the Enterprise Architect.
Capabilities, Qualifications & Experience :
Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Information Technology.
Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience; Minimum of 5 years working with IT architecture.
Experience from agile development and DevOps methods including understanding of end-to-end Software Delivery Lifecycle processes.
System thinking with comprehensive knowledge of relevant platforms & technologies including documented experience of enterprise software and API oriented architecture.
Documented experience from applying digital technology creating business effect.
Demonstrated business acumen and relevant experience of business, customers and/or functional area.
Ability to gain understanding of customers’ business processes and unmet needs, while also managing expectations and scope.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills & relations with ability to work effectively with stakeholders in complex organizations.
