Job Description


AFRY is now looking for a driven Service Delivery Manager for Cloud Infrastructure to our global IT operations team.
As a SDM for Cloud Infrastructure you are responsible to manage our current cloud infrastructure in Azure in cooperation with our outsourcing partner. Our ways of working is team-based, and you will work in close collaboration with your multi-national team in different competences such as server and network management, Active Directory, security, workplace or Microsoft 365.
Your main focus is on Microsoft Azure, where you (together with our Outsourcing partner) design the architecture, ensure reliable operations and monitor, optimize cost and plan our future in the cloud. You are also working as a consultant towards our internal customers to help them find the best possible (cloud) solution for their needs.
Beside the day to day operation you will also participate in small/medium IT projects as part of internal optimizations, implementation of new products or as a result of M&A activities.


Qualifications


Naturally you have an interest in Cloud services as such, especially in Microsoft Azure, but you also have a good overall understanding of IT infrastructure, especially on integration of on-premise with cloud services.
Qualifications for this position are:
Higher education in computer science
Experience as Service Delivery Manager- working with one or more outsourcing partners
At least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Azure
Good understanding of the main services provided by Microsoft Azure, including Analytic, Compute, Databases, DevOps, Management, Network, Security & Storage services etc.
Cloud architecture for cloud and hybrid systems, as well as for SaaS applications, are in your DNA
Concepts like PaaS and IaaS are well known to you
Good understanding of Hybrid Cloud respectively on integration of on-premise services into cloud services, e.g. Azure Active Directory, Authentication services
Proactive way of working by finding opportunities and optimization potentials
Fluent in English with good communication skills
Team spirit to work in an international team

Beneficial competences:
Experience with AWS or Google Cloud
Experience with virtual desktop solutions in combination with Azure (Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix in Azure)
ITIL certification
Experience as project manager of small and medium IT projects
