Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation as Scania’s success is depending on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.The area you will be joining is Finance IT where our aim is to create efficient and data driven financial flows at Scania through fit-for-purpose IT solutions. To achieve this, business and IT work actively together with inclusivity at all levels of the organization.
Your role will be vital in taking this journey forward and you will work closely with Business, other Architects and our delivery teams. Your contribution will be important in maintaining the current- and future Architectural landscape, keeping it up-to-date and well structured – including our SAP and D365 transformations.

Your responsibilities
You will mainly be responsible for understanding the business strategies and visualizing the future IT landscape that enables the business goals. Daily collaboration with our business colleagues and other Solution architects to establish a flexible and future proven IT landscape that supports Scania business vision and new business models.
Some of your main tasks will include:
• Ensuring that functionality is reused and that company-wide architecture principles and guidelines for standards are followed in the technical architecture
• Taking responsibility, together with other architects and our development teams, for ensuring that the solution has a long life cycle
• You will be part of ongoing projects and will work in parallel with current solution architects within areas of production, after market, finance and purchasing.
• Keep an overview of the existing solutions, new development initiatives, and secure that the solution's documentation such as modelling etc. is being performed according to established guidelines.
Your profile
We are looking for Senior Professionals with a minimum of 5 years of work as a Solution architects. You have detailed technical knowledge but also can think strategically. You view continuous improvement as part of your daily work. You should have a positive attitude and be able to cooperate with the team but also work independently when required. Your ability to take responsibility, be structured and be self-propelled is very important. It is an advantage if you have experience in the automotive industrial production area.
To be successful you need to have:
• Experience in understanding business requirements and working with key business and technology stakeholders
• Ability to constructively challenge ideas and design approaches
• Broad technical aptitude, strong design and analytical skills
• Experience working with cloud and hybrid solutions
• Broad architecture diagramming capabilities
• Good communication skills, good at networking and creating relationships
• Experience and practice from using agile working methods
• Experience working with SAP S4 and other technologies
• Experience in Project Transformation
Meritorious, experience from work with finance processes and data management.
