At Cluster Functions, we are responsible for implementing the GUI and business logic for our driver display functionality. We ensure that the driver receives the right information at the right time to complete the transport mission efficiently and safely. We are moving towards a continuous development phase where we will, among other things, work on extending the product content for our BEV vehicles.

We are also looking forward to extending our collaboration with Traton Group colleagues in the near future, learning and expanding our horizons together.

Our team

The GUI team consists of a mix of onsite and remote developers with various levels of experience and diverse nationalities, working together regardless of location. The team is currently led and assisted by a Product Owner and a Scrum Master to ensure a smooth journey.
We are good at taking care of each other, ensuring that we learn from shared knowledge along the way. Commitment and Team Spirit are areas that stand out our qualities.
Our closest collaborations are the ones with the other team in the group, the Application team and the design team. Our combined deliveries build the Scania Driver Display!

Your role

We are looking for a developer to join our team in ensuring a premium quality driver interface by utilizing the full potential of our ECU system and development tools.

As a developer, you will play a key role in developing user interfaces for our applications. You will work closely with designers, developers, and product managers to implement high-quality, performance-optimized, and visually appealing UIs using Qt Quick/QML.

Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain user interfaces using QML and Qt Quick.
· Collaborate with designers to translate design mockups and wireframes into functional user interfaces.
· Optimize and enhance UI performance to ensure smooth and responsive user experiences.
· Integrate QML UIs with C++ backend code.
· Troubleshoot and debug UI-related issues.
· Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with the team.
· Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our UIs are cutting-edge.

Your background

· Proven experience as a QML Developer or similar role.
· Proficiency in QML and Qt Quick.
· Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
· Experience with C++ programming and integrating QML with C++ backend.
· Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
· Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Experience with agile methods and ways of working
We want you to have either a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience with other UI frameworks and libraries is a plus, as well as experience in developing applications for multiple platforms (e.g., Windows, Linux etc. ) and QNX.

As we are a team of mixed nationalities, our daily language is English. Therefore, we require you to have a good level of written and spoken English. Swedish is beneficial, but not mandatory.
If you also have experience in the vehicle industry or working with embedded systems, that’s great!
