Service Engineering and Information Management (SEIM) is a department within Volvo Buses. Our mission is to ensure that our customers have the best maintenance and service information possible. We are on a change journey where driver’s information serves an important part.


To strengthen our organization, we are now recruiting a Driver’s Information Specialist.


THIS IS THE ROLE
The role mainly includes two responsibility areas. First and foremost, develop the content of the products: the driver’s handbook and the quick guide. In addition, drive the development of the digital driver’s information products.


Networking and collaboration with people are important parts of the role. Working together cross functionally, we develop and maintain internal and external collaboration and networks. An example of this is participating in all phases of our bus development projects and globally coordinate technical information retrieval. You will also plan deliveries together with our system providers, translation agencies and illustrators. 


The Driver´s Information Specialist owns the end-to-end process for the driver’s information. A holistic view of the Volvo Bus business and operations is crucial for our customer value. 


WHO ARE YOU?
You have a passion for public transport and Volvo Buses’ premium products, as well as a desire to enhance information to benefit our customers. 


To be successful and enjoy this role, we think that you like to work in a cross functional environment and build relationships and collaborations. You see challenges and development as something positive and have the drive to finish your projects and to make a difference.
We think you have an education in technical writing, communication, marketing, engineering and/or equivalent experience from the automotive industry
You need excellent communication skills in both the English and Swedish language
It is an advantage if you have experience from the automotive industry
It is meritorious if you have good knowledge of the Volvo Bus product portfolio and required system applications
