DSP Fast Trak Assistant Scientist

For our customer in Uppsala we are now looking for a DSP Assistant Scientist for a temporary assignment at Fast Trak.

Fast Trak is a global group that oversees the global biopharma industry and provides application support in the form of process development, consulting and/or training to the industry and academia. The assignment which is full-time will start on April 4, and end on December 31. Job description
- assisting with Fast Trak in different Process Development Projects (Monoclonal Antibodies (MAb's) or recombinant proteins) in the lab through independent performance of experiments, analytics, buffer preparation and report writing.

- assisting with large column packing activities

- supporting trainers in preparing and teaching laboratory exercises

- to maintain accurate and complete records of all work in a timely manner

- helping with laboratory maintenance

Qualifications
Required education:

Masters degree in Chemistry, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical engineering or related Life Sciences field

Required experience: 

- demonstrated experience in chromatography, use of ÄKTA Explorer/ÄKTA Avant/ÄKTA Pure and Unicorn software

- demonstrated ability to operate in a high pace environment with frequent changes and strict deadlines

- demonstrated advanced English skills both written and spoken

- ability to add positive atmosphere to a team environment

Other required or desired skills:

- understanding of principles and theory behind unit operations for processing biologicals

- analytical experience: HPLC, SDS-PAGE, ELISA, etc

- column packing experience

- HTPD experience (96-well plates)

- experience with and Assist software
