About the role:

The main tasks will be to meet the customer's expectation on quality, fuel consumption and to comply with emission legislation. This is done by verifying and validate that the engine developed fulfills requirements. You will be an important contributor in this development and it is important to have good collaboration with your colleagues from design teams to workshop and test operators.

Your daily work is an exciting mix of time spent in engine laboratory, data analysis, creative meetings and present results. You will get the opportunity to follow verification from early stage in project to production engines, on all our Heavy Duty Engine range in our test cell.

We plan our work according to agile principles; simplification. You are encouraged to take on tasks of your own as soon as possible, with support from experienced colleagues. We strive to have an open and honest environment within the teams, where it is easy to ask each other for support when needed. The tasks can be either part of a larger long term project or short tasks to improve products currently in production.

Qualifications:

* Master of Science or similar technical education is preferred
* Education and/or experience of combustion engines, exhaust after treatment and test engineering is welcome
* Experience of performing engine sub-system testing and/or complete engine durability testing!
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* License for truck (C/CE) is a merit but not a demand
