SAS Duty Maintenance Planner
SAS Duty Maintenance Planning is a function/group within Maintenance Operation Control department (MOC) as part of SAS CAMO organization.
Duty planning main purpose is to ensure the airworthiness of SAS aircraft fleet by performing, 24/7 controlling and follow up maintenance event planning to P-145 (Maintenance Production) together with other Maintenance operational duties and responsibilities related to airworthiness control in an operative environment.
In this role you will...
...Be a part of coordination and handling of all AOG (Aircraft on Ground). You will seek opportunities to plan proactive maintenance relating to repetitive defects in cooperation with the Maintenance Operations Control Group, as well as being mainly responsible to secure accomplishment of AD (Airworthiness Direction) within defined time interval.
Furthermore you will:
- Act as an interface between SAS CAMO and internal and external Part-145 organizations
- Handling of various mandatory documents according to regulation and/or SAS procedure requirements.
- Ensure all ordered maintenance is cost effective at minimum cost and maximizing available ground time.
This job function requires working shifts, both days and nights as scheduled
Key Responsibilities
- Security, control and follow up the next 72h maintenance plan in relation to fleet operation and P-145 agreement both internally and externally (Line maintenance).
- Responsible for short term maintenance checks and unscheduled/deferred maintenance planning in relation to aircraft operation.
- Manage re-scheduling of all maintenance events if deviation from original maintenance plan is necessary (Job drop/Re-planning).
- Secure maintenance performed and CRS release according to plan within stop duration time.
- Ensure Maintenance Forecast to be up to date
Experience
- Good knowledge of civil aviation regulation EASA Part M and Part 145
- Good understanding and or actual work experience within aircraft maintenance facility and production processes (P-145).
- Sharp judgment skills in a fast changing and dynamic environment
- Experience in Identifying and develop continuously improvements
- Education/good knowledge of regulative aircraft maintenance planning in relation to ETOPS, CDCCL, Critical task.
- Knowledge and understanding of aircraft maintenance programs, ATL, MEL, JIC, AD, EO and their use of.
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably at least 1 Scandinavian language
- Experience of the aircraft operated by SAS ideally at Gen Fam level
It is meritorious if you have experience of the following:
- Aircraft operation in relation to aircraft maintenance.
- AMOS and other supported Maintenance/operational surveillance systems.
- Heavy aircraft line maintenance planning.

As this position requires occasional work airside, to be eligible for this position you must be able to pass a security test including a background check.
To be eligible for this position you must be able to pass a security test including a background check and limited travel is to be expected as part of the job. An EU working permit is required.
