SAS Duty Maintenance Planner
SAS Duty Maintenance Planning is a function/group within Maintenance Operation Control department (MOC) as part of SAS CAMO organization.
Duty planning main purpose is to ensure the airworthiness of SAS aircraft fleet by performing, controlling and follow up maintenance event planning to P-145 (Maintenance Production) together with other Maintenance operational duties and responsibilities related to airworthiness control in an operative environment.
Challenges you will work on
- Security, control and follow up the next 72h maintenance plan in relation to fleet operation and P-145 agreement both internally and externally (Line maintenance).
- Responsible for short term maintenance checks and unscheduled/deferred maintenance planning in relation to aircraft operation.
- Manage re-scheduling of all maintenance events if deviation from original maintenance plan is necessary (Job drop -Re-planning).
- Secure maintenance performed and CRS release according plan within planned ground stop duration time.
- Ensure Maintenance Forecast to be up to date
As a Duty Maintenance Planner at SAS you will:
- Seek opportunities to plan proactive maintenance relating to repetitive defects in cooperation with the MOC Group.
- Mainly responsible to secure accomplishment of AD within defined time interval.
- Be part of AOG coordination and handling of all AOG situations related to planning and control of effected scheduled maintenance events.
- Act as an interface between SAS CAMO and internal and external Part-145 organisations
- Handling of various mandatory documents according to regulation and/or SAS procedure requirements.
- Ensure all ordered maintenance is cost affective at minimum cost maximizing available ground time.
- Establish clear handovers to ensure clarity of ongoing maintenance plans.
This job function requires working shifts, both days and nights as scheduled.
To be successful, we believe you should have:
- Preferably previous experience of heavy aircraft line maintenance planning.
- Good knowledge of civil aviation regulation EASA Part M and Part 145
- Good understanding and or actual work experience within aircraft maintenance facility and production processes (P-145).
- Sharp judgment skills in a fast changing and dynamic environment
- Experience in Identifying and develop continuously improvements to a business.
- Education/good knowledge of regulative aircraft maintenance planning in relation to ETOPS, CDCCL, Critical task and HF.
- Preferably experience of aircraft operation in relation to aircraft maintenance.
- Computer proficiency in general and MS Office in particular.
- Education and/or experience with AMOS and other supported Maintenance/operational surveillance systems.
- Knowledge and understanding of aircraft maintenance programs, ATL, MEL, JIC, AD, EO and their use of.
- Excellent communication skills in English and preferably at least 1 Scandinavian language
- Experience of the aircraft operated by SAS ideally at Gen Fam level
