Our database is used by our reporting and self service tool (Tableau) to create reports and analyze data. In other words it is being used for production and development purposes. Performance on our environment is key and essential. We have tables that have several billions rows of data and we need to create efficient solutions that can scale over time.


The top priorities to solve are:


1) Viewing data has the biggest tables and we need to create aggregations for them on different levels.
2) Improve the relational model in the underlying database.


Requirements:
3+ years of working in ETL/Data Warehousing Back End
ETL/SQL projects
Experience in Scala programming
Aggregations and dimensional based architecture.
Experience in setting up data warehouse servers infrastructure
Cloud environment (AWS)
Proven documentation capabilities
Understanding of Tableau or similar reporting tools


Bonus:
Able to mentor
Programming language experience (Java and Python)
