E-commerce Associate

Our solution contributes to a more balanced and better functioning care process for the entire pet ecosystem. By providing a first point of contact for all pet owners, FirstVet makes pet care more available, efficient, and effective.
The role
Ever since FirstVet started in 2016 we have been on a journey of rapid growth, and we are not stopping here. FirstVet’s business is growing quickly and as a part of that, we are looking to expand the e-commerce team by hiring an E-commerce associate who will support our continued growth in both UK and Sweden.
As our new e-com star you'll be an invaluable asset in our day-to-day operation, handling various tasks, projects and initiatives within the e-commerce team, ensuring we create content with high standards across all channels. Coordinating campaigns with marketing initiatives and continuously collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to create efficient content that supports and drives FirstVet’s business goals will be part of your everyday work. You will report to our category and campaign manager.

Your responsibilities
Assisting in developing promotional campaigns and monitoring the performance
Create banners for the e-com website, email, Triggerbee and Dialogtrail
Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns.
Analyze campaign performance and suggest improvements
Support in SEO optimization activities
Monitoring, managing and updating website content such as product pricing, content updates, etc.
Identify new business opportunities and sales channels.
Analyze consumer behaviour and preferences to support E-commerce activities.
Generate discount codes to be distributed to partners and customers.
Carry out customer loyalty activities.
Organize special E-commerce activities such as breeder shows and fairs.
Work with key sales partners to support their marketing activities.

The person we are looking for
To be successful in this role, we believe that you are a doer and a self-starter who doesn’t hesitate to take initiative. You have innovative and creative ideas on how to solve problems and you take action when challenging situations occur. Despite your speed and efficiency in all you do, we see that you have a reflective mind and that your decisions are thought through and supported by well-established arguments that will serve FirstVet’s e-commerce in a positive way in the long run. You also have a strong interest in joining an early-stage startup where roles and responsibilities aren’t always narrowly or clearly defined, and everyone works across a wide array of functions and responsibilities.
About you
You have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Marketing
You have an interest in e-commerce and consumer-facing technology businesses.
You enjoy building things from the ground up, navigating uncertainty and making informed decisions with imperfect information
You are able to own a project from start to finish
You have a business mindset
You can do easier calculations in Excel
You have basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
You are fluent in Swedish and English
While direct experience in e-commerce is not a requirement we see it as beneficial for the role plus
