E-commerce Specialist with focus on the French market, GP Consumer products
We are growing and are now looking for a highly motivated E-commerce Specialist to join our European E-com team, and who wants to take on the mission to drive sales growth in direct-to-consumer eCommerce channels in France, with initial focus on marketplaces. The position is to be appointed as soon as possible and as long as you are fluent in French you can be based in any of our offices in Gothenburg, Paris or Milan.
The role
Sales through the digital channels are a key part of our GP Consumer division growth strategy, why you will be expected to adopt an entrepreneurial mind set to identify, set up and successfully drive growth through new and existing online channels. Your knowledge of the French e-commerce landscape and best practises in SEO and SEA, will allow you to successfully launch and grow new channels. You will ensure sustainable growth by taking ownership of the channel’s P&L. To enable your success, you will be fully supported by the GPBM Nordic/Italy/France e-com team with ongoing training and guidance as you develop into the role.
Responsibilities and main tasks
Establish and accelerate growth on the Marketplaces in France.
Contribute to the analysis, definition and implementation of the e-commerce and digital marketing strategy in France including responsibility of the P&L of the accounts assigned.
Monitor market intelligence and understand the competitive environment to be able to identify new sales opportunities.
Manage autonomously the entire e-commerce process, from listing creation to sales and margins monitoring, in accordance with the strategy of the company.
Define KPI’s and monitor performance, reporting results and actions finalized to improve processes and outcomes.
Innovate and activate key launches, campaigns in alignment with the overall marketing strategies for impactful brand presence leading to business opportunities.
Audit product listings and update catalogue, according to SEO principles
Update sales reports, track sales development and ensure correct level of stock is always on hand.
Run and optimise advertising campaigns to grow sales while considering profitability.
Ensure new products are launched on time.
Competitor analysis
Participate actively in the development and maintenance of new e-commerce channels.

Essential skills & experience needed for you to be successful in this role
Knowledge of the French eCommerce landscape
Knowledge of SEO and SEA and capability to use Google Analytics and Google Ads
Previous experience with CMS like Magento, Woocommerce or Shopify will be considered a plus.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role working on Marketplaces or E-Commerce websites; preferably within the B2C/Retail sector, with a focus on Web Marketing and digital e-commerce platforms.
French mother tongue or proficiency level and fluent in English, both written and spoken
Advanced Excel skills.
