Your mission
Care by Volvo is currently offered in Germany, Netherlands, Norway and UK. In Sweden implementation is ongoing and we are looking to scale further geographically and with new products in the upcoming years. For the development of Global Online Business, we will strengthen the Finance team with an E-commerce Steering Manager role within the area of Performance Steering.

In our team we strive to increase our understanding, analyze and explain to the rest of the online sales community how we make money on our products. We focus on the online subscription product of Care by Volvo which is unchartered territory for both the group and the industry. Our curiosity pushes us to analyze and explain the business in new ways and develop our own tools in doing so.

To succeed you need to understand, navigate and steer in a complex business environment from financial perspective with a holistic mindset. In the role you will develop, implement and maintain performance steering toolbox and ways of working. This in order to develop the product and pricing as well as pushing the efficiency of fleet and operations based on analysis and understanding of customer behavior and profitability, working closely with commercial and operations teams.

You will also
•    Develop and maintain advanced modelling tools for profit calculations, planning and steering
•    Quickly move between data chasing, analysis and action
•    Develop processes and build pragmatic and sustainable governance structures
•    You are a key player in stakeholder (wide range of seniority and roles) education and management in highly cross-functional environment

Who are you
You are curious by nature and passionate about improving a business that is new and evolving. One of your most important skills is to translate your analysis to a message that can be easily understood and immediately acted upon. You also enjoy solving problems with a data-driven approach, explaining complex matters in an understandable way and getting to the core of a problem to resolve it. You have the Cognitive ability to explain and present complex problems and are a strong relationship builder with integrity and robust communication skills.

We are looking for people who enjoy collaboration and take accountability, as the ability to work within teams is key for success. To succeed, we believe that your background and skills include:
•    Experience in building steering models and develop tools to steer a complex business based on relevant data and targets
•    Experience with reporting and presenting information to senior management and ability to present findings in a clear and concise manner
•    Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability of building complex models for planning and analysis. Solid Excel skills is a must have.
•    We are building a new business – it’s vital you’re enthusiastic about creating something new rather than maintaining existing processes
•    5+ years of work experience in relevant position probably from performance steering/business controlling or strategy consulting
•    Bachelor's degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred, in Business and finance, logistics or an engineering degree with strong academic records.
•    Fluent in English, additional languages are a bonus
