Schneider Electric are developing with great speed and new initiatives, and are now facing a challenge within education and training. The challenge does not only concern our own engineers and technical specialists, but also our end users and customers, and therefore we are seeking to increase our training team based from Malmoe, Sweden with an additional experienced eLearning writer.
As an eLearning/writer you will work with following tasks:
- Develop a complete manuscript/storyboard as the foundation for our eLearning productions for distribution globally within Schneider Electric such as:
o Manuscript (MS Word)
o Storyboard
o Scenarios
o Exercises
o Reviews (Lectora)
o Project lead
- Have a sustainable and good collaboration with the other regional training organizations to find all possible synergies in the global development.
In this position, your main responsibilities as an eLearning writer are to:
- Be totally responsible for the manuscript; technical content and writing.
- Build up a pedagogical storyboard, targeted predominantly towards a technical audience
- Collect adequate in-depth technical information from the local R&D and/or from other sources, and convert it into a pedagogical learning package
- Build up conceptual exercises to strengthen the learning message and to fulfill the learning objectives
- Use different scenarios/concepts tovary the user experience
- Take the lead in the eLearning project from the early start until it is ready to be published on our LMS
- Explain technical content to the creative producer and communicate your ideas
- Distribute and manage the eLearning module when reviewed, and be responsible to implement changes and corrections
Qualifications required
- University degree in technical education and technical field experience
- Have the ability to understand in-depth technical information/literature and to make it comprehensible and pedagogical to our audience
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Technical writing skills
- Experience in developing eLearning and/or conventional training material is a plus
- Experience from the building automation field is a plus
