E-Mobility Application Engineer

This position will be responsible for technical sales support of drivetrain solutions from concept to integration for our eMobility customers. The position requires a detail-oriented, structured and analytical individual with excellent communication skills and technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, self-going and adaptive person that contributes to a fast-paced sales team. Creating value and engaging with customers must be the motivational factor.
You will be part of a sales team and the position is reporting to Sales Manager.


Your responsibilities
Provide technical support to customers from concept to integration.
Translate customer needs and product requirements into a solid and competitive technical solution.
Structure, plan and document activities and interaction with customers using CRM tools and others.
Conduct drivetrain simulations based on certain load cycles and provide technical documentation to customers.
Leverage the full potential of ABB's portfolio for eMobility by collaborating with internal and external parties.
Proactively identify new customers and opportunities on the Swedish market.
This role will require travels within Sweden to be able to meet customers.



Your background
At minimum 3 years of experience in dimensioning of electric drivetrain (motor and inverter)
Working experience and understanding of vehicles dynamics and load cycles
Preferably a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
Strong understanding of motors, inverters and mobile controllers
Strong understanding of various off-road vehicles and relevant standards and industry practices
Experience and understanding of battery-driven equipment and trolley applications is considered a plus
Excellent communications skills both in Swedish and English and capability to interact with various disciplines and levels within a company
Work effectively in a collaborative manner with cross-cultural teams
B category driver's license is preferred.
