Scania is developing our capabilities to meet the customers’ demands of new technologies. The sales of electric vehicles is bundled with services, finance solutions, infrastructure and partnerships. Starting from the customers total cost of operation, we develop solutions to increase the customers profitability.
In the journey to become a Total Solution Provider of E-mobility Solutions we are constantly learning by doing. By finding out how to offer complete solutions in the ramp up of E-mobility sales we are also learning from the implementation.
Your tasks
You are a part of the tender team for E-mobility. In close cooperation with colleagues and Scania Business Units the you secure decisions material for our internal stakeholders.
You develop, simulate and ensure visibility of the business case over time. This is done by building advanced business models in excel that includes the total solution to be delivered from Scania as well as the TCO for the customer and also building comparisons with our competitors.
It is important you understand the tender requirements, the customers’ operation and the interface between different stakeholders.
By analysing the possible solutions provided by Scania and partners you optimize the quotation accordingly ensuring compliance with company policies, strategies, guidelines and authority levels.
Your profile
We are looking for a person that have a strong and well proven knowledge on the total cost of economy calculation in the transport industry. You are consistently building calculations on how to optimize the transport operation profitability with proven methods/tools and presenting its results for approval at decision forums.
You have a deep understanding of the transport industry, a passion for understanding the total transport operators’ business, its changing drivers and enjoy working on building a sustainable profit optimization calculation tools for the success of the operation.
You are resilient, enjoying a high pace environment where you often propose and implement new ideas (make it happen and deliver!) on what is best for the business. You enjoy working in a diverse and inclusive environment and are proactive on communicating to various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
As a person, we believe you are driven, entrepreneur, structured, goal oriented and enjoy continuously delivering results. You also enjoy travelling (visiting customers and other stakeholders) to understand its business and work with a flexible schedule making sure that the customer deadlines are met.
You have a commercial or technical university degree. Experience working with the transport industry with financial background, experience in bus/people mobility area is meriting. You master English, additional language is meriting.
