Arbetsbeskrivning
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
Do you want to build Scania’s future and lead the electrification shift? The world of transport and logistics is electrifying rapidly and Scania is facing the biggest shift in our history. Our target is to take a leading role in the transformation by quickly building a sustainable transport solution through a steady flow of new tailor-made products, services and not the least, enhanced abilities. Besides a whole new product range this will change the way we do business and interact with our customers.
The Scale-up Manager will in many ways be central for us to succeed. For each addition to our offering, we need to secure and control that we generate maximum value from products produced before and during the first period after we open up for delivery from normal process or production. Further on, to assure customer understanding of what they will get when and secure sales when scaling up, there is also a need to define demonstration units of what is to come visualising our roadmap in an engaging way. Key in this is to pro-actively assure these demos can be realised when needed.

You are an awesome individual and at KF you will have the opportunity to work with other awesome persons of a multitude of backgrounds united by a passion for e-mobility as a mean to create a better planet. We put efforts into our teams to bring out the greatness of everyone and to have an ambition that going to work should recharge your batteries rather than drain them. To support you we have mood managers, great coffee and we continuously work on assuring that we have premises and setup to accommodate a modern work-life in a start-up atmosphere.
Hypotheses on customer value is central in our operation where leadership should support, train and challenge and where everyone’s opinion counts. We have gotten a good start, still understand that we are on the beginning of a long journey to perfection and are anything but content on our current position and structure.
Assignment
The main responsibility of the Scale-up Manager is to define, plan and manage the early volume for maximised leverage of scarce resources and early products. You will:
• Set and lead cross functional work to manage ramp-up (and phase-out) related questions teaming up production, development projects, Solution Management and e-Sales Management.
• Assure practical visualisation of our complete offering where you are the driving force to set vision and then make demo units happen. This includes vehicles, but also e.g. charging components and services. In it you will define and continuously develop processes in the interface between Sales and Marketing and Industrial Operations to manage pre-production vehicles. The outcome will be used in work connected to ramp, events, demonstration activities and MarCom and Communication.
Your work will be central to secure Scania’s capabilities in all seven areas of sales readiness where you will be responsible for the first: Ramp-up and phase-out; MarCom and Communication; Staff Preparation; Methods and Tools; Offering Description; Back Office; and Service Network Readiness.
Your profile
You are a self-propelled person that sees, visualises and builds structures from scattered information with the ability to find or fill in the missing pieces. You form a common vision and find it natural to act in between disciplines to get your team to work towards it. Keeping track of minor and major deliverables with various time frames is central to you. You make things happen through a creative touch and hands-on approach.
Competences/experience
Understanding and working with marketing has always come naturally to you. You know how to communicate and break-down an overall ambition to actions more relevant to a specific target group. Doing so, you can engage with the different key roles and functions responsible for the various areas. Structures and processes are tools that you use for efficiency and control. Having business related experience guides you in what is needed in the different sales and service areas. Your outcome will have impact on the ability of many roles and functions of our commercial organisation to do their job efficiently.
