Your role

This is an opportunity for a credible and experienced candidate who understands the Technical and Regulatory responsibilities of the role and can develop a flexible and efficient environment that matches our business model and culture. The candidate will be responsible for the management of civil and military maintenance approvals within the department Support Solutions. Together with a team from the organisation, the candidate will lead and develop the MOE, processes and working methods within the approvals. The Maintenance Manager will be a part of the management team together with section managers and business owners and will act as regulatory expert to support and advice in new business cases.



Example of duties and responsibilities:

Monitor and Manage performance of maintenance activities to ensure compliance with Regulations, MOE and Organisational procedures.

Ensure development and effective implementation of processes and procedures throughout the organisation.
*

Assists the Accountable Manager and Department Manager in selecting, developing, and evaluating personnel to accomplish the company's goals, objectives and to grow internal certification capabilities
*

Coordinates with the regulatory authorities to maintain the exposition and capability list
*

Take part in the SMS (Safety Management System) implementation work
*

Manage and respond to quality deficiencies which arise from independent quality audits
*

Take part in preparation and negotiation of relevant agreements



Your profile

We are looking for a person with a broad background from the Aviation Branch. Proven experience from leadership roles is beneficial. Good knowledge of EASA/SE-EMAR Part 145 and Part M/CAMO is crucial as well as knowledge of Safety Management Systems, Quality Systems. We think you have a good IT knowledge with experience from fleet management systems, within this organisation we use IFS "Sherpa" so previous experience from working with an IFS system is beneficially. You will work in an international environment so fluent English language, written and spoken is required.

Experience and Skills:

Documented experience of leading qualified work teams.
*

Documented experience from the Aviation Branch.
*

Knowledge and experience from Aircraft Maintenance Industry.
*

Understanding and knowledge of EASA Part-145 or SE-EMAR Part-145.
*

Experience in MS Office and IFS system (Sherpa)
*

Demonstrate a credible, assertive and "can-do" attitude
*

Proficiency in English.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

We work with a broad scope, spanning over the entire life cycle with civil and military aircraft, both helicopters and fixed wing. We specialize in aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul, modifications and services for the entire need of an operator. We are located mainly in Sweden on several locations. Our main sites are in Tannerfors, Malmslätt, Nyköping and Ljungbyhed but are also represented abroad. Support Solutions employ approx. 275 people today.
