IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA retail channels with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduces 2,000 new products in the 420 IKEA stores and other multichannel touchpoints around the world with the turnover of 38.3 BEUR. The total range is almost 10,000 products. So what happens in Älmhult definitely doesn't stay in Älmhult. It reaches practically every corner of the globe.
An important part of the assignment is capturing the always evolving requirements and setting the pre-conditions for convenience early in the product development process, this is an essential contribution to a great customer experience – This is what we work with in the Easy buying and selling team in Sales, IKEA of Sweden
Easy buying and selling is about ensuring that it is easy for our customers to choose what product to buy and that it is convenient to shop, get home, assemble and install. It is about spare parts and complementary range making it possible for the customer to prolong the life of their products for a more sustainable way of life

Job Description
As Easy buying and selling Manager you will lead and develop the Easy Buying and Selling area in an efficient and effective way according to the IKEA way of working with the goal to enable a great meeting with the customer in all touchpoints
To succeed in the role you will need to work in close collaboration with stakeholders from across the entire IKEA network. Your areas of responsibility include:
Accountability for setting the requirements and pre-conditions for easy buying, easy selling and after sales early in the product development process in order to contribute to a more convenient customer experience
You are accountable for securing that the easy buying and selling requirements are agreed, understood and shared early in the range and product development process
Based on the commitments made in the IKEA Business Plan, you lead the development of easy buying, easy selling within the responsibility of the function to contribute to a more convenient customer experience
Lead the development of easy buying, easy selling in tactical planning based on consumer and market input as well as industry trends
Support the HFB’s by leading the development of common principles, tools, ways of working, learning solutions, defining goals and KPI’s connected to easy buying and easy selling
Contribute in the development of easy buying and selling solutions together with relevant stakeholders in the IKEA network
Lead the business development of after sales and service business, securing the range related and after sales service development in connection to the relevant HFB
Contribute as member of the Sales Management team to the success and development of sales
Lead, coach and develop the co-workers in the Easy Buying and Selling Team
Accountable for the delivery of the functional action plan, connected KPI:s and follow up
Lead the Easy Buying and Selling agenda through the Sales Managers in the BA
Act as role model leading by example and promoting the IKEA Values and Cultur

Qualifications
You have great leadership capabilities with the ability to lead in change and inspire others to see possibilities. You are an excellent networker and you build strong and trustful relationships. You are delivery focused and you have the ability to prioritise and organise work in order to make the most efficient use of resources and time. You are a strong communicator and you express yourself clearly in spoken and written English. In addition to this, you have:
Motivation to lead by IKEA culture and values. Curious, prestige-less and always striving to make things better.
Senior leadership experience (around 4 – 5 years of experience of strategic leadership), a genuine interest for leading and developing leaders and co-workers.
Result-oriented, and proven success in obtaining good results
You have good knowledge of our retail environment
You have knowledge of consumer behaviour and are curious about consumer trends
Passion for people’s life at home, and for creating a great customer experience
You have curiosity for Home Furnishing, people’s life at home and can identify with the IKEA product range
Deep understanding of IKEA vision, business model and IKEA range identity as well as good understanding of IKEA ways of working
At least 10 years’ experience of working at IKEA

In this role you will report to the Sales Manager in IKEA of Sweden and be a part of the Sales management team
