The Power Grids division is the world's leading supplier of power and automation products, systems and service solutions for the entire value chain from power generation to the transmission and distribution of electricity. You will be part of HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current), a business unit within ABB’s Power Grids division located in Ludvika. The unit develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. This ABB developed HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. HVDC is also used to connect power systems.

We are looking for an Engineering Base Operations Team member.
Your responsibilities
Business analysis, realization of business demands into efficient solutions.
Application related process development with continuous improvements, roadmap definition and time planning.
Leading application related projects.
Participate in software and hardware upgrades.
Planning and arranging Steering Committee and user meetings.
System administration, installation and configuration.
End user support, problem solving and training.
Maintaining end user documentation.
Implementation and maintenance of ECAD standard and base design libraries.
User license and access management.
Reporting to 3rd line support (Application Suppliers and Local IT support).

Your background
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent.
You have great interest in application administration and development, as well as experience from project- and application management.
Experience in Engineering Base or similar ECAD applications.
You are a driven, self-motivated natural leader with a creative mindset and great interpersonal skills.
In this role you need to be result focused and work effectively both independently and as part of the team.
It’s important that you communicate well at all levels of the organization and get your messages across in a coherent and clear way.
You have a high level of integrity and dependability.
Fluency in English is required, whereas Swedish and other additional languages are highly valued.
Experience in ITIL.
Knowledge and skills in MS Visio, MS Projects and Share Point are qualifying.
