The Economic Section is seeking a full-time employee to fill the position as Office Management Specialist. The incumbent will perform general administrative duties: maintaining the supervisor's calendar, making conference arrangements, drafting correspondence, faxes and cables as needed, screening and circulating incoming cables, locating information for various reports, briefings and conferences, maintaining contact files, follow-up with staff members to ensure that various commitments made at meetings are met, preparing requests for travel, travel advances, reimbursement vouchers for travel and representational expenses, ordering office supplies and processing time and attendance reports.
The incumbent will also perform such general administrative duties as: preparing demarche-related documents, processing E-Country Clearances, preparing pre-arrival processing and documentation for interns, maintaining and culling both hardcopy and electronic files, maintaining the Economic Section's cable log; and acting as a minute-taker/note-taker at meetings.
Qualifications:
Previous secretarial, office management or similar experience is required. The use of Microsoft systems, office and research skills and ability to type at least 40 wpm are required.
Basic Requirements:
1.This position is open to American citizens who are eligible to receive a Top Secret security clearance.
2.Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
