AniCura Regional Animal Hospital Bagarmossen is one of Sweden’s largest and most modern animal hospitals for dogs and cats. We are a 24/7 emergency, ICU and specialist hospital that now looks to strengthen the neurology team further and is therefore looking for a small animal ECVN diplomate or board eligible neurologist to join the team.

Who are we looking for? 

The successful candidate is ECVN diplomate or board eligible small animal neurologist. You will be working closely with specialist teams in all disciplines expected in a multidisciplinary referral practice, with highly skilled nurses and incredible support teams.  Our facilities include a 64 slice Siemens CT, 1,5T MRI, ultrasonography, fluoroscopy, Karl Storz arthroscopic and laparoscopic imaging systems, operating microscope, and full instrumentation for orthopedic-, neuro- and soft tissue surgery. We also have state-of-the art anesthesia equipment, experienced anesthesia nurses and European diplomates in anesthesia and analgesia, diagnostic Imaging and clinical pathology in the hospital.

You contribute with your knowledge, expertise, and insights and by training, educating and collaborating with less experienced colleagues and other departments, you play an integral part in developing our hospital further. The role is split into both clinical work, training and educating colleagues and departments within primarily neurology. Experience in neurosurgery is essential. You will also be able to dedicate one day a week to research for continued professional development.

About The Regional Animal Hospital Bagarmossen

The Regional Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal practice, offering the best in medical and surgical care. We primarily treat dogs and cats. We are situated about 10 minutes outside Stockholm City centre next to Nacka nature reserve with beautiful lakes and woodlands just around the corner. With our 180 employees, and around the clock services for both referrals and emergency cases, we are the only 24-hour, 7 days a week, 365 days a year open - small animal hospital in the Stockholm county. The hospital receives approximately 30 000 patient visits a year and have around 100 surgeries every week.
