You will be based in Stockholm in a modern office setting in our multinational and diverse HQ
The employee will be member of the EDI Development & Architecture Team in the Systems Integration Area of Electrolux IT Solutions. The team provides solutions and services to IT and the Business for application-to-application and business-to-business systems connectivity. The teams responsibilities cover a wide range of integration requirements ranging from simple file transfer, EDI, secure internet communication and application-to-application message brokering using different message and file brokers as well as business consultancy.
The team is currently supporting the business to improve all EDI communication for our trading partners. The growth of EDI communication continues throughout Europe. Also, there is increasing business emphasis on the communication channels to our external partners that do not involve traditional EDI. These comprise a range of B2B tools including web-based services for our customers and suppliers. This is an increasingly important part of our route to market.
The EDI Specialist will work within the EDI team or as part of extended teams formed within the business and/or IT and will provide high quality conceptual and development services. The role may also participate in local and international projects to design and implement integration solutions that are required by other application delivery teams.
Your main tasks:
• Prepare work and requirements to our EDI Service provider IBM for the development and test of the EDI solution
• Follow up with EDI Service provider
• Running E2E Tests
• Following the defined change control procedures for moving new System Integration components into production
• Create and maintain configuration and support documentation
• Take responsibility for assigned EDI projects with focus on Logistics integrations and D2C (Direct to Consumer)
• Definition and clarification of interface message formats using standard formats (EDIFACT, TRADACOMS, ANSI X12, XML, IDocs and self-designed in-house formats)
• Clarify internal and external file or message transfers using all common transfer protocols (X.400, AS2, SFTP, HTTP, MQ, Email and others)
Qualifications:
• Experience of working in medium size or international projects with EDI projects in analysis, design and delivery
• Knowledge of the application development lifecycle, project management methodology
• Knowledge of EDI Message Types (e.g. DESADV, IFTMIN, IFTSUM, SHIPMENTs, Tracking, etc.)
• Knowledge of common data format standards (e.g. EDIFACT, XML, Idocs) and common file transfer methods (e.g. MQ, X.400, AS2, SFTP)
Knowledge of EDI and B2B system integration design, programming, configuration and delivery
• Knowledge of transforming specification to technical solution
• General knowledge of a message broker environment
• Knowledge of IBM SCBN platform an advantage (InFlight)
