About the position:
The Editorial Manager is responsible for coordinating the efforts of the Editorial team. You do this by assigning team members to shows, and for shows that don’t have a dedicated editor, you are the first point of contact, managing editorial requests by prioritizing and assigning these to appropriate team members. To do this you collaborate closely with the show's core teams to assess their needs and their urgency. You keep relevant stakeholders informed about changes in availability, delays, changes to processes and workflows.
Your Main Tasks:
Receive and Ingest materials for editorial and request updates when required
Import line-up data to Shotgun
Define and update task assignments based on show needs and ticket priorities.
Promote ownership and responsibility within the team and provide opportunities for artists to grow.
Identify and flag any creative, technical or crewing issues which may threaten client deliveries. Collaborate with stakeholders within the show and/or globally to find solutions. If necessary escalate to ProdOps and Talent Development Team for the well being of crew and show.
Assist in overall team communication.
Attend peer and global meetings to discuss workflows topics: raising issues, providing feedback and discussing new potential solutions
Participate in global projects to help advance new discipline workflows when needed
Provide feedback to and about artists and supervisors you work with.
Support Talent Development Team, reviewing portfolios and participating in new candidates interviews.
About You:
• You have 5+ years experience from Editorial Manager or role or similar/relevant roles within the VFX industry
• You speak and write English fluently
• You are responsible and thorough in your work
• Experience with Shotgun is a plus
Extent: Full-time position.
Location: Norra Riddarholmshamnen 1, Stockholm, Sweden
Work model: Hybrid work.
Salary: According to agreement.
