We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a EDS Engineer with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.




Key Responsibilities:




The challenge of vehicle integration and prototyping is to ensure product maturity. There are numerous aspects and interconnected functions to consider in order to confidently check the boxes. We are responsible for increasing the flow of integration, testing, and verification, both virtual and physical, within Product Integration and Verification.


We govern both hardware and software integration of test objects (mules) in early phases to fulfil decided verification based on Minimum Content in the Prototype Integration & Solution Team (PIST).


For specific integration points, we own and determine physical test object specifications. We own and control the level of minimum content fulfilment within specific physical test objects.




Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
Experience in EDS work methods as well as knowledge across P&Q.
Ability to create technical EDS solutions for early test objects such as X1 and SM.
Comprehensive understanding of electrical schematics
Creation of 3D models and rework instructions
Teamcenter
CATIA V5 electrical
3DPMI are examples of proven skills.
A good understanding of rework of cable harnesses in connection with mule test objects is also preferred.
It would be advantageous if you had previous good practical and theoretical vehicle knowledge.

You must be able to plan, manage, and control your work independently in order to meet team and eART objectives.
