We are now looking for an EDS System Engineer (High Voltage)
YOUR TEAM
The EDS (Electrical Distribution Systems) Chapter is one of five competence teams inside the E/E Hardware Engineering Tribe.
The overall responsibility of the Tribe is to secure NEVS present and future need for E/E Hardware Competence & Technology within E/E Architecture, Electrical Distribution Systems, Electronics & Electrical Energy Storage. You will be part of a creative and inspiring team that like to take on challenges and find new ways to work and improve. As part of the Chapter EDS, you will work from first sketch until production of wiring harness according to program/project request with focus of High Voltage area.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Have the responsibility for developing the EDS HV system including connection systems
- Have the responsibility to create Physical Schematics in Siemens Capital tool based upon the harness system design
- Have the responsibility for developing and maintain the EDS development process and tool-chain
- Have the responsible for developing and maintaining NEVS General Requirements for EDS-area, to meet the standards required by NEVS customers.
- Be part of the EDS team to develop, integrate and validate EDS system from concept phase to industrialization and implementation in production
- Have ability to lead cross functional design meetings with all Electrical Architecture and system owners incl suppliers
- Be part of BOM creation for complete EDS team
- Have ability to lead technical communication with suppliers through the complete product development phase
- Support in material development and handling for prototype builds
- Be part of prototype builds
- Be part of validation and verification against requirements
- Support functional safety engineers in the analysis of the HARA and breakdown of safety goals to safety concept and technical safety requirement.
WHO YOU ARE
- Successfully completed studies in Master´s degree within Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Passionate interest in new technologies and concepts with focus of autonomous vehicle
- Experience of using Siemens Capital tool in design work
- Experience of EDS development and processes within automotive domain
- Knowledgeable of electrical connections systems
- Knowledgeable of Electrical Safety based upon HV system
- Knowledgeable within Agile WoW
- Accustomed to write and speak in English
- Like to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues
- Can legally drive vehicle in Sweden
