EE Platform architect

Job description
As an EE Platform architect you are in the centre of shaping the future of our EE architecture. You will drive and engage in discussions and investigations related to the EE architecture, its vision and its evolution, together with system architects in other development organisations. Based on these investigations and feedback, you are expected to develop the reference architecture with its core elements, its design strategies and patterns, and improved ways of structuring our system. You will also be active in supporting the development organisations in their transition to the next architecture.


To be successful in this position
You have a good insight and understanding of the challenges and trends in EE Architecture, a well-developed and profound system thinking and holistic view. Furthermore, you have a good insight in major technologies present in contemporary automotive embedded systems. As a person, you are a team player and have a personal appeal that encourages collaboration and agreement between multiple stakeholders on complex topics. This means that you need a good eye on identifying gaps, flaws and contradictions, as well as finding solutions for them with a strategical mindset.

Profile and qualifications
MSc in Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or equivalent
Long practical experience in EE and software related system and product development and design.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
